I remembered requesting respective ICs of the CCA openhouse
to update me on their work on the openhouse, but up till now,
i've only heard from 1IC.
If this carries on, im pretty sure that we'll be behind time.
So please, update me.
Also, respective specialists please try &get your juniors to
update you &plan out the activities &inform Mr Lai or Mr Ong.
If they approve of your suggestion, then you guys can carry it out.
Don't not procrastinate any further.
CCA Openhouse is on the 15th.

How have your holidays been?
Hope its' a meaningful one.
As for mine, its' pretty wonderful.
I've been attending the 58th COC for the past few days.
Its' quite entertaining in my humble opinion.
&also, hope you guys have been toning up your body &
brainstorming for events for the upcoming CCA OpenHouse.
I'll be assisting you guys by then.
As for now, play &enjoy as much as possible.
You guys deserve this wonderful break.

have yet to come; THE END OF YEAR CAMP!(if theres' one)

Kayaking One Star Course

24/9 and 25/9 were kayaking course from 11~6.30
Cadet from all Parts are present. Will get the name and pics(If possible)
We had fun, I guess. ALL play until crazy.
24/9:
Spent the first few hours learning the parts of a kayak.
Front=bowl(howl) Back=Stan Left=Port Right=Starbouy(I think, not sure about the spelling.)Then went in the water to take the 1st test. A 50 metre swim? The water was pure green with full of algae and not so much fish. But i guess it was okay?Then went in water with the kayak. 1st up was to learn the capsize drill. So we know what to do in times of capsize.Then was the forward stroke and backwards stroke. Then we went to a bouy which was lyk 50m away? But by the time we raft together. We are drifted back lol! The wind was kinda strong. Sun too... Then practise for like 1 hour or so? Then learn J-draw to move sideways. Then practise practise practise.
Learn how to rescue people. If im not wrong its called T-X Rescue Mission?
Then we played a game. Being split up into groups. And 1 victim 1 resucer 1 assistance. 3 person per team so were took turns. After that if cause go home :)

5/9:
Pawn lesson agn. Homework stacking up... Guys remember to do homework! Mr Lai got remind hor! Did some revision and learn a new skill. Classical draw. Same as J-draw. Not much diff though. Then we played MC(Mass Capsize)! 11 ppl's kayak capsize and have to get it right. Without too much water in it. Thats the challenge. Marcus and Robert(I guess) got it right first. Then went around rescuing and finally all were rescued. We were told its a 3 star course! Well done! And we all passed the test.

All of us were badly sun burned though. But at least we had fun! The sad thing is that we cant get to go for 2 star... Remember to do homework!!!
